PITTSBURGH, PA (WSAU) – The Brewers rallied with back-to-back doubles in the 8th to beat the Pirates, 6-5 on Sunday. The teams split their four-game series.
Caleb Durbin’s double tied the game, 5-5. Bryce Turang plated the game-winning run with a double to the left field corner.
Jared Koenig was credited with the win. He improves to 3-1 this season. Trevor Megill struck out two in the 9th for his 9th save.
Logan Henderson, who won his first three big-league starts this season, was no-decisioned. He struck out 5 batters in 5-innings of work.
The Brewers return home to play the Red Sox on Memorial Day. Game coverage begins at 12:35pm CT on WSAU.
