GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — Cellcom says there is no new update as restoration work continues.
The company issued a brief statement on Friday, saying “the message shared earlier this week by our CEO remains our most current and comprehensive update.” The statement adds that the message, which came in a video from CEO Brighid Riordan on Tuesday, “continues to reflect what we’re working toward and where we’re headed.”

Earlier this week, the company confirmed that a cyber attack took down its network, leaving customers without voice, data, and texting service for multiple days. Some services have been restored, including messaging and some voice calls.
Customers have been venting frustration with the slow restoration process and a lack of communication. Many are also frustrated by an inability to port their numbers to a new carrier.
Cellcom points customers to a dedicated website for updates and frequently asked questions about the outage. Additionally, customers are encouraged to disregard any text message that asks for banking information or any other personal data due to the outage.
