MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers tied the game in the 9th inning but ultimately fell to the Baltimore Orioles 8-4 in 11 innings on Wednesday at American Family Field.
Trailing 4-3 with two outs in the 9th inning, Caleb Durbin singled in Sal Frelick to tie the game. The Orioles then scored a run in the top of the 10th but Milwaukee tied it again on a Jackson Chourio single.
The Orioles wouldnt be denied in the 11th, plating four runs including a three run homer from Adley Rutschman off Tyler Alexander.
The Brewers did get another homer from Rhys Hoskins in the game. It was his 7th long ball of the season.
Milwaukee hits the road and will play in Pittsburgh tonight. Pre game show at 5pm on WSAU.
