WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) – A Wisconsin Rapids man has been charged with a 5th OWI.
The Wisconsin State Patrol reports that James R. Miller, 42, was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 13 in Wood County.
Eye-witnesses reported that a 2013 Chevy Silverado drove away from the crash. Police located the driver a short time later. Miller failed a series of field sobriety tests and was arrested.
He’s also been cited for operating with a revoked license and leaving the scene of a crash. Police say there was also an order to detain Miller from the Department of Corrections.
