WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Bridge Community Health Clinic was the winner of the 2024 Impact100 $100,00 grant and they’re ready to put that money to good use.
In three weeks, they’ll start construction to repurpose the original dental clinic and use the space to it’s full potential.
That makes the first of it’s kind in the area to offer medical, dental, and behavioral services all in one building.
“We really want our patients especially our more complicated patients who need that whole team to come and feel like they’re being cared for in a space that respects their journey,” said Jen Smith, Executive Director with Bridge Community Health Clinic. “We knew with the services we already provide, we could provide care in a totally different way than other organizations in the area. It really respects all the different factors that impact somebody’s health and well-being.”
Smith adds that the end of construction will be near the end of July then get the space ready for open houses before seeing patients.
