MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Madison Police Department has reportedly arrested the father of Abundant Life Christian School shooter Natalie Rupnow on charges related to the deadly attack.
According to sources who spoke to conservative radio host Dan O’Donnell, Jeffrey Rupnow was arrested on Thursday morning and charged with Providing a Dangerous Weapon to a Person under 18 Resulting in Death and another count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor in connection with Natalie Rupnow’s access to the handgun she used during the shooting that left two people dead, including herself, and injured six others.
O’Donnell further notes that the police will provide details for the first time on the motive for her attack, which is expected to include Rupnow’s social issues at her previous school due to the bullying she faced because of her ongoing transition.
Law enforcement officials are expected to formally announce the charges on Thursday afternoon.
