WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Three people are jailed after law enforcement seized nearly $80,000 worth of cocaine as part of a lengthy investigation.
Officials with the Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force conducted multiple controlled purchases from February 2024 to January, leading them to 38-year-0old Markqui White. He was arrested earlier this month at his home, where investigators found over $36,000 worth of the drug.
Later that day, they took two additional people into custody, 35-year-old Shelby Ingram and 37-year-old Travis Ingram. Officers say they found another $39,400 worth of the drug in their home, including some that was hidden in a toilet and cat litter. Officers believe Travis also tried to eat some of the drug.
White is facing 20 felony counts related to the manufacturing and distribution of cocaine and is being held on a $750,000 bond. His next court appearance is June 9th.
Shelby Ingram faces three felony counts for drug trafficking and is being held on a $100,000 bond. Her next court date is May 5th. Travis Ingram faces eight felony counts and is being held on a half-million-dollar bond. His next court date is May 7th.
