WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Wisconsin’s budget-writing Joint Finance Committee will hold its last listening session with residents in Wausau.
The session begins at 10 AM in the Center for Health Services and runs through 5 PM. Residents are encouraged to come out and provide feedback on what they’d like to see in the new two-year spending plan.
Those who can’t make the in-person session can submit written feedback through an online public comment form. Click here for more information.
It’s the last of four listening sessions. The statewide tour began on April 2nd in Kaukauna with stops in West Allis and Hayward.
The new two-year budget remains a work in progress. The current fiscal year ends on June 30th.
