ST. LOUIS, MO (WSAU) — The Brewers fell behind 3-0 and never fully recovered in a 3-2 loss to St. Louis on Friday.
Christian Yelich recorded an RBI single in the 6th, followed by an RBI groundout from Jake Bauers in the 7th. Chad Patrick was roughed up over 4.1 innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs while issuing two walks.
Tyler Alexander allowed one run on three hits in one inning of work.
Yelich, Rhys Hoskins, and Jackson Chourio each recorded two hits in the loss.
Milwaukee went 2-7 with runners in scoring position and left seven runners on base.
The same two teams will play again this afternoon. Coverage begins at 12:40 PM with first pitch at 1:15 PM on WSAU.
