INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WSAU) — A 36-point outing from Giannis Antetokounmpo wasn’t enough for the Milwaukee Bucks in a 117-98 loss to Indiana in game one of their first-round playoff series.
The Greek Freak added 12 rebounds for a double-double but he failed to get much help from the rest of the starting 5. Brook Lopez and Ryan Rollins combined for 14 points while Kyle Kuzma and Taurean Prince were held off the score sheet completely.
AJ Green added 15 points off the bench. Gary Trent Jr chipped in 14.
Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 25 points.
Indiana shot 52% from the field and 38% from three-point range. Milwaukee went 42% from the field and 24% from long range.
The Pacers lead the series 1-0. Game two is Tuesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
