GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) โ Construction is picking up around Lambeau Field as Green Bay will welcome the NFLโs biggest offseason party in two weeks.
Packers Planning Specialist Megan Robertson says she and her co-workers have been watching the stage come together in real time. โThe tangiblity, seeing it come to life, is creating a buzz around our building and the community. Weโve been planing this for two plus years, thereโs been a lot of talk about โwhatโs it going to look like?,โ now we actually see it.โ
Crews topped off the draft stage this week, where the picks will be announced. Now theyโll move to other areas. โWeโre seeing some of the hospitality spaces start [near] the Johnsonville Tailgate Village and the Oneida Landing. It doesnโt matter where you are on campus right now, you are seeing some activity.โ
Roberson says the number of workers on site is also growing. By the time the event ends, some 2,200 NFL personnel will have been on-scene to make the event flow, from league officials to vendors and people hired by the league to run operations.
Organizers have also finalized two entry points for the event along Ridge Road near Lodge Kohler and the new Packers Athletic Club. Details on shuttle pickup and drop-off points are still being finalized.
Attendees should download the NFL One Pass app to register for free tickets. The NFL will also use the app to communicate official information regarding the event.
