TOWN OF CORNING, WI (WSAU) โ Four Merrill teenagers are accused of stealing items from a rural Lincoln County garage.
Police were called to a home in the N1900 block of Farmgindale Road in the Town of Corning, where a person said someone had made him aware of a group of teens removing items from his garage. The suspected vehicle left the scene before the officers arrived, but the person followed them until the officers caught up.
It was determined that the group had taken various items from the garage, including a bicycle.
Three of the suspects were 16 years old and were released to their parents. The fourth suspect, a 17-year-old, was arrested and taken to the Lincoln County jail. All four are facing theft charges, with charges against the 16-year-olds pending.
Names of those involved have not been released.
