VILAS COUNTY, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A man has been charged in connection with the death of a lady who was discovered dead on Friday night.
According to the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office, they were called to the scene and discovered the body of 61-year-old Kelly Johnson who appeared to have died of “unnatural causes.”
The Sheriff’s Office reported early Saturday morning that they had arrested and charged 56-year-old James Johnson with first-degree intentional homicide as a result of their investigation.
The Wisconsin DCI and detectives from Vilas and Oneida County assisted in the investigation.
