SCHOFIELD, WI (WSAU) – The Casa Amigos Mexican Restaurant will be donating to the family of D.C. Everest student Bradyn Bohn in response to the tragedy that struck the community in recent days.
According to a post on Facebook, Casa Amigos intends to donate 15% of their sales earned on Thursday, March 13th to Bohn’s family with the permission of his parents saying, “No parent should ever have to go through the loss of a child. It’s one of the most painful things to go through, we are sending our condolences to the Family. Our post is to bring more awareness on what has happened and to help the family in any way we can.”
“Very sad to see what has happened in our community, let’s come together and show the Bohn family that they are not alone. There is a community behind them and we will be there in any way we can during this difficult time.
Please if any child is ever being bullied/threatened/abused please know that there are people out there who will stand by you and protect you. Do not ever feel like you are alone, there are many of us who will not hesitate to help. Reach out you are not alone,” the post continued.
The event will create a perfect opportunity for families to come together, celebrate, and support their community on Thursday as many local businesses will also be donating a percentage of their sales during the 8th Annual Be Amazing Dine Out & Shop Around event, which supports people of all ages to create positive change and positively impact their community.
Everything from eateries to bars such as The Bar, Brews Brothers, Two’s Company, Wiggly, Trails End and many others will be participating and more information can be found about the event at the link provided.
