
Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Caroline Harvey assisted on two goals, and Ava McNaughton made 12 saves as the Badger women’s hockey team defeated Bemidji State 1-0 in game one of their best-of-three playoff series.
Lacy Eden, Kelly Gorbatenko, and Claire Enright each scored for Wisconsin. All the scoring came in the first two periods.
McNaughton picked up her 30th win of the season and 50th career victory. It was also her 8th shutout of the season.
Wisconsin can end the series and advance to the WCHA Final Faceoff with a victory this afternoon.
