Hello Lovelies!
I can honestly say that so far, my journey to Vitality has been super fun. Ever since sitting down with Dr. Babiarz and my Wellness Coordinator at Eleve, I learned that Iโm on the verge of being pre-diabetic, and this could lead to diabetes in the future. If I want to avoid those issues, I need to correct them now. Like yesterday actually.
Itโs no secret that I have the worlds biggest sweet toothโฆ And I had been a religious soda drinker for over 10 years โ about 1 to 3 cans a day on average of Pepsi, Coke, Dr. Pepper, you name it.
The goal was (and still is) for me to kick that sugar obsession to the curb, and I honestly didnโt know how I was going to do it. But what I love about Eleve is that they meet you where youโre at, they understand how hard it can be to change a strong habit, and they not only provide moral support and accountability, but they are great about suggesting foods that can act as a substitute or healthy alternative to what youโre craving, and let me tell you Iโve been having so much fun finding foods that work for my health plan and also satisfy my cravings. ( See attached a photo of my low-carb almond milk french toast with peanut butter and syrup)
Part of my health plan is to incorporate at least 60 minutes of exercise a day. I love making this into a fun game as well, especially on the days I donโt go to the gym. This includes playing tag with my kids, playing โJust Danceโ, or just putting on fun music and working out with friends to songs.
The message I really want to reiterate today is that the journey to Vitality can certainly be a fun one, you just have to get creative โ and the team at Eleve is ready to help you do just that!
