MERRILL, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Lincoln County.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says they received a call at 8:47 Monday night about a pedestrian hit by a vehicle on State Road 107 near Snow Road.
When first responders got there, life-saving measures were performed, but the pedestrian, a 30-year-old Merrill man, died of his injuries. His name hasn’t been released. It’s unclear if the driver will be cited for any wrongdoing.
State Road 107 was closed for approximately 5 hours while the crash was investigated.
