DODGE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An arrest warrant has been issued for an Arkansas man, wanted in connection with the abduction of a pregnant Wisconsin teenager.
Gary F. Day of Cabot, Arkansas faces two counts of abduction of a child-taking and two charges of child enticement-cause mental/bodily harm.
An Amber Alert was issued Monday, February 3rd for Sophia Franklin of Beaver Dam. She was last seen at her home Sunday night.
Day was last seen at Franklin’s residence at 7:48 a.m. Monday. He’s believed to the father of her unborn child.
According to an update from the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network, Day’s 2014 Black Buick LaCrosse has been seen with multiple license plates. It was first seen with an Arkansas license plate “BBR 20L.” It was last seen on surveillance footage Monday morning with a Pennsylvania license plate “KGW5186.”
