MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — A 46-year-old Wausau man was arrested last Saturday after he was found walking naked near the Rock Island Resort in Lincoln County.
The unidentified man appeared in court on Monday, two days after investigators found him walking along State Highway 107 without clothes. Officers noted that he appeared “highly intoxicated” at the time.
Deputies tried to detain him, but he resisted. After a struggle, they managed to get him on the ground and arrest him. He was taken to a nearby hospital for medical clearance before being booked into the Lincoln County Jail.
Officers note that he was “uncooperative” throughout the incident.
The man was released on bond was released on bond after he was processed at the jail.
