SAN ANTONIO, TX (WSAU) — Giannis Antetokounmpo scored the game-high with 35 points, but Milwaukee fell to San Antonio 144-118 on Friday to close out a Western Conference road trip.
The Greek Freak added 14 rebounds and six assists for a double-double. Damian Lillard scored 22 points with seven assists and three boards.
Khris Middleton scored 21 off the bench. Taurean Prince added 13.
Every Spurs starter scored at least 12 points. Second-year standout Victor Wembanyama had 30 points, 14 rebounds, and six blocks to lead the way.
Milwaukee falls to 26-20 and returns home on Sunday to take on Memphis.
