GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Packers safety Xavier McKinney has been named to his second All-Pro team this week while a Wisconsin native has been named to the first of his career.
According to the Associated Press, Broncos right guard Quinn Meinerz, who is from Hartford, Wisconsin, will join McKinney on the 2024 first-team All-Pro squad, along with former Wisconsin Badger linebacker Zack Baun, who had a career year with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024.
McKinney, who joined with the Packers from the New York Giants last summer, collected eight interceptions and eleven passes defended this season, earning him his first Pro Bowl selection in February and first-team All-Pro honors from the NFL Players Association earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Meinerz, a UW-Whitewater graduate, was selected 98th overall in the 2021 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. He signed a four-year, $80 million contract extension with the team before having his best season to date in 2024, leading all interior defensive linemen with 65 quarterback pressures.
