MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks may be without their two biggest stars against the Brooklyn Nets as they deal with a flu-like illness.
According to The Athletic’s Eric Nehm, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are dealing with a similar illness that forward Khris Middleton had during the NBA Cup and Antetokounmpo will be out on Thursday night while Lillard is doubtful to play. It would be their second straight game missed after neither was able to play during the Bucks’s 112-91 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.
The Bucks were led by Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, who each scored 21 points against the Bulls and will need to put up similar numbers against the Nets as the star duo has combined to average 58.4 points per game this season.
Pre-game from Fiserv Forum can be heard on WSAU beginning at 6:30 p.m. with tip-off set for 7.
