PHILLIPS, WI (WSAU) — A Price County man has admitted to killing a 57-year-old woman back in April.
Christopher Dyer entered a guilty plea for one count of intentional homicide on Thursday for the death of Denise Schwarz on April 13th when she was found shot to death outside a home in Park Falls. A firearm was also recovered at the scene.
Investigators named Dyer the suspect about two weeks after the incident, though court records show he was jailed on April 15th. Charges were formally filed against him in May.

The 50-year-old will be eligible to apply for parole after 30 years when he is 80. He was given credit for over 250 days already served in jail while awaiting trial.
