EAU CLAIRE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Over 20 injuries have been reported in connection with a tractor and trailer accident at an Eau Claire-area orchard.
It happened on Wednesday morning at the Bushel and a Peck Market in Chippewa County. Multiple teams of first responders were involved, including a medical helicopter from Mayo Clinic.
Officials have confirmed that students from a local Lutheran Church school were at the Orchard for a field trip.
It’s unclear how many of the injured were students or adults. They also haven’t disclosed the nature of the injuries, though reports indicate that three people did suffer life-threatening injuries.
All students were reunited with their families.
