WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – The second annual Extra Innings Celebration of Life is set to begin in Wausau on Saturday as the organization hopes to raise money for local cancer research.
Starting at 8 a.m. The Second Annual Celebration of Life will begin its Doubles Pickleball Tournament at Marathon Park, which will run until 5, while children can visit the Kraft Kuddily Kreatures petting zoo, get their faces painted, and play in the bounce house beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until 3 p.m.
All proceeds from the raffles and silent auctions, which will take place from five to six o’clock, will benefit Joshua’s Camp (a children’s cancer camp in Eau Claire), the Aspirus Foundation, which has designated funds for cancer, and the Marshfield Clinic Angel Fund. Attendees can also enjoy a wide selection of food, drinks, and snacks throughout the day.
