STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — City leaders in Stevens Point have announced the full lineup for this year’s Riverfront Rendezvous festival.
The festival begins Thursday, July 4th in Pfiffner Pioneer Park and features three days of musical entertainment, ending with a fireworks show over the Wisconsin River.
Support acts for each of the three days include:
- Thursday: Big Oil, Rhythm Playboys, Barefoot Americans, Wheelhouse, Miss Myra and the Moonshiners, Copper Box
- Friday: River Cities Jazz, Boogie and the Yo Yoz, Non-Serio (Polish Choir), Pat McCurdy
- Saturday: John Dietz and the Twin Lakes Trio; Boo Bradley; Rebel Grace; Adrian & Meredith; Gin, Chocolate, and Bottle Rockets
Headliners were announced back in January. Horseshoes and Hand Grenades will headline on Friday, July 5th. Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band will close out the event on Saturday, July 6th followed by the big fireworks display.
The biggest name on this year’s slate is 1990s alternative rockers The Spin Doctors, who produced a pair of top-ten hits off their 1991 album Pocket Full of Kryptonite.
Saturday’s lineup will also include an improv comedy act.
