WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Marathon County Clerk Kim Trueblood has scheduled a recount for the District 16 Supervisor race.
Canvassed results show challenger Bill Conway defeated incumbent Tony Sherfinski by a single vote 255-254. After the canvassing, Sherfinski submitted a written request for the recount.
Trueblood has scheduled the recount for Friday at 9 AM in the Marathon County Courthouse assembly room. The process is open for anyone to observe.
This isn’t the first time the two have gone head-to-head for the District 16 seat. Sherfinski won as a challenger in 2022 with just over 64% of the vote.
