WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – This Saturday will mark the 10th annual Dani’s Journey, and a popular central Wisconsin cover band will be taking the stage at Dale’s Weston Lanes to help raise money for a good cause.
According to a press release from the group, Dani’s Journey is a “celebration of the life of Dani Volkman. All proceeds benefit the Dani’s Journey Education Fund in partnership with The Women’s Community to make programs available to educate teens on what makes a healthy relationship and ways of coping. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for area high schools.”
The event is free to the public and will feature great raffle prizes, 50/50 drawings, and much more. Nicki’s Hair Frenzy Haircuts begins at 3 p.m., and registration for the 9-Pin Tap Bowling Fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m., which will cost $25 per person, and then the cover band, who plays top rock and pop hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and today, Slab will take the stage at 8 p.m.
