MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin womens basketball team’s season game to an end with a 65-60 loss to St. Louis in the NIT quarterfinals on Monday night at the Kohl Center.
The two week tournament run was the first postseason appearance for Wisconsin in 13 years.
It didn’t help that the Badgers lost their best player, Serah Williams, to a knee injury just as the game started. They also lost Sania Copeland to a concussion late in the first half.
Ronnie Porter led the Badgers with 17 points. D’Yanis Jimenez had 12 points and Hallie Douglas added 10.
