FOND DU LAC, WI (WSAU) — The woman accused of killing Cindy Schulz-Juedes in her prison cell will enter a plea for first-degree homicide charges later this month.
Court records show Taylor Sanchez will be arraigned on April 23rd in a Fond du Lac County Courtroom. She’s accused of beating the 69-year-old in the cell they were sharing, saying the voices in her head were telling her to kill her.
The 27-year-old Sanchez had recently admitted that she stopped taking her medications and was “hearing voices again.” Additionally, she said she thought Schulz-Juedes was using her toothbrush to clean the toilet.
She’s being held on a $1 million bond and faces an automatic life sentence if found guilty.
Schulz-Juedes had just begun a life sentence of her own after she was found guilty of killing Ken Juedes, though court records show that she had been preparing an appeal.
