GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers worked out four players on Monday following their season-opening victory over the Chicago Bears, according to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson. Three of the four players are offensive linemen, which may indicate an area where the team wants to strengthen.
Cornerback Rejzohn Wright may be the most well-known name on this list. Wright appeared in Netflix’s Last Chance U as a younger Rejzohn during his junior college days. Wright, transferred from Laney College to Oregon State while on the show. Wright was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Carolina Panthers before being waived during cutdowns.
The Packers also worked out Michael Jordan, an offensive lineman, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft and has appeared in 55 games with the Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals. He was waived by the Panthers during cutdowns and has primarily played guard at the NFL level.
Other workouts include Brent Laing, an undrafted free agent tackle who was signed by the New York Jets this spring out of Division II’s Minnesota-Duluth, and Jake Guidone, a guard prospect who started his college career at Dartmouth, where he was twice named All-Ivy League, before transferring to UConn. He was also let go during cutdowns.
