MADISON, WI (WSAU) — It’s expected that the Badgers and the Buckeyes will contend for the WCHA regular-season title this year.

Additionally, Wisconsin’s Caroline Harvey was named the WCHA preseason player of the year. Kristen Simms and Casey O’Brien joined Harvey on the Preseason All-Conference team as well.
The Badgers open the season at Lindenwood University in suburban St. Louis on September 28th. They’ll also battle Boston College before opening league play on the weekend of October 12th against MSU Mankato in Madison.
