GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Packers and Patriots are practicing together again on Thursday as they prepare for their preseason game on Saturday night.
According to Marques Eversoll, it did not take long for things to get chippy when a Patriots player shoved a Packer while getting up from the ground. Another fight happened after a Patriots corner didn’t like Malik Heath blocking him past the first down line. Seven small fights were reported throughout the day, and Patriots LB Anfernee Jennings was thrown out of practice for what some players felt was a dirty hit.
Green Bay’s offense played well on Wednesday but struggled on Thursday as New England’s defense played much tougher all around. Love threw a couple of INTs on the day, including one to start a 2-minute drill.
Jordan Love’s 2-minute drill opened with an interception to Patriots DB Marcus Jones. Love badly underthrew Samori Toure on a corner to the right sideline. Jones undercut the throw, tipped in the air and caught it going to the ground.

Packers stars Kenny Clark and David Bakhtiari did return to practice today, but neither player is likely to play on Saturday night as they continue to prepare for Week 1.
Bakhtiari has been the subject of possible trade rumors, but according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there have been no trade talks between the Packers and Jets surrounding the star left tackle, and Green Bay has no interest in moving on from him.
Despite Green Bay’s struggles on offense the Packers still ended up coming away with the play of the day.
