BARABOO, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office is now receiving assistance from the FBI in its search for a teenager who vanished near Devil’s Lake State Park about two months ago.
James Yoblonski, 13, may have had numerous electronic devices in his possession before he vanished on June 12, according to a notice from the sheriff’s office on Thursday.

Sherriff Chip Meister stated that the search has turned up evidence of two inquiries for out-of-state travel made on one of the devices in early 2023.
The first device belonged to Yoblonski’s family, while the second was one that the Baraboo School District had given to James.
Meister continued by saying that detectives followed up on the internet searches and searched several locations, but they were unable to discover any proof that James had visited those locations.
