MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Jay Harper, a three-star cornerback, made his commitment to the Wisconsin Badgers official on Monday afternoon.
Harper, a cornerback from Alabama who stands 6’0 and weighs 165 pounds, selected Wisconsin over Louisville, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
Harper made only two official visits to Louisville and the Badgers during his recruitment process.

The Alabama product joins the Badgers’ 2024 recruiting class as the second cornerback. Depending on the status of defensive back Vernon Woodward, who recently paid Illinois and UCF official visits, the Badgers may attempt to add another cornerback soon.
The Badgers will now focus their attention on four-star cornerback Omillio Agard, who is currently choosing between Wisconsin and Clemson.
Wisconsin’s recruiting now ranks 14th in the nation as Harper becomes the Badgers’ 16th verbal commitment for the 2024 class.
