STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The city of Stevens Point has announced another measure designed to help ease congestion ahead of the US Senior Open at SentryWorld and Riverfront Rendezvous.
Overnight parking restrictions will be suspended beginning the night of June 26th. Meaning on-street overnight parking (in legal parking spots) and all non-permitted city lots will be available for parking.
Regular parking restrictions will resume on July 5th at 6 AM.
The move comes as the city prepares to host tens of thousands of people over a week, and one day after the city announced a series of road closures that will be in place for the event as well.
