MADISON, WI (WSAU) – With all of the changes slated to occur in the Big Ten after the 2023 season, many are wondering what the addition of new teams and the elimination of divisions would mean for the conference’s schedule in 2024.
The Badgers last faced Michigan back in 2021 and lost 38-17 at Camp Randell Stadium and the Badgers defeated USC back in 2015 23-21.
The schedule also features home games against Penn State, Ohio State, Purdue, and Michigan State at Camp Randell Stadium, as well as road games against Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota.

After hiring former Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell to succeed Paul Chryst and securing several high-profile recruits like quarterback Nick Evers, wide receiver CJ Williams, and cornerback Amare Snowden, expectations surrounding Wisconsin have reached a fever pitch.
“I’ll tell you this and you’ll probably hear it every year at the beginning of the year,” Fickell said back in November during his introductory news conference. “We’ve got one objective, one goal. To play for a championship. This league, you’re playing for a championship, amazing things can happen.”
According to Sports Illustrated, the Badgers could win up to nine games this season, putting them in contention for the Big Ten title game, saying, “Expect a more wide-open approach from first-year coach Luke Fickell and coordinator Phil Longo as they implement a more aggressive offense with transfers at quarterback, Tanner Mordecai, and receiver to pair up with lead back Braelon Allen.”
The Badgers will kick off the 2023 season against the University of Buffalo on September 3rd at Camp Randell Stadium.
