TOWN OF BRADLEY, WI (WSAU) — A case involving over $110,000 worth of stolen goods from Sacramento, California was cracked by officials in Lincoln County this week.
Officers in Sacramento say they’d been tracking a group who stole $116,000 worth of property in an incident on May 19th. They eventually discovered that the property in question may have ended up in Lincoln County.
Police then reached out to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the two sides secured a search warrant for a home in the Town of Bradly. That was carried out on Tuesday, where the stolen property was discovered along with additional stolen goods.
All told $120,000 worth of stolen goods was recovered from the home.
Both Sacramento Police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the incident. Names of those involved will not be released at this time, and it’s unclear what property was stolen.
