WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – The Small Business of the Year Awards finalists for 2023 have been revealed by the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce. The contenders have been narrowed down to fourteen companies and organizations.
Accentu Inc., Amaximmo LLC, Buska Retirement Solutions Inc., El Tequila Salsa LLC, In The Light Electric, Nelson-Miller Inc., Patriot Auto Repair LLC, Restlawn Memorial Park LLC, and Rivers Edge Campground are among the companies in the business-to-consumer category.
Christmas in July Charity, DC Everest Area Education Foundation, Hmong American Center Inc., Never Forget Honor Flight, and Monk Botanical Gardens are among the organizations in the charitable non-profit category.
This month, the Chamber will conduct interviews with each of the contenders for this year, and the videos will be posted on its Facebook page and YouTube channel.
In the business-to-consumer category, Lamb’s Fresh Market won the 2022 Small Business of the Year Award, and the Charitable Non-Profit category went to the Wisconsin Automotive & Truck Education Association (WATEA).
