MADISON, WI (WSAU) — More Foot Locker employees will be laid off in the Badger State as the company continues consolidating operations.
A filing with the Department of Workforce Development indicates the athletic apparel company plans to close its Oshkosh customer support center, resulting in the permanent loss of nearly 100 jobs.
A total of 95 jobs will be cut by April 28th. Two employees- an HR manager and Customer Care Manager, will stay on through May 31st to officially close the facility.
The facility handed customers support for customers, both over the phone and through the company’s website. The closure will allow Foot Locker to consolidate their North American customer support at its Wausau facility.
All impacted employees have been notified. The positions are non-union, therefor bumping rights do not exist.
