MEMPHIS, TN (WSAU) – The Bucks were blown out in Memphis Thursday night, losing to the Grizzlies, 142-101. The Bucks were never close, giving up 70 points in the first half and trailing by 50 points early in the 4th quarter.
The Bucks were outscored in the paint, 86 to 38.
Ja Morant had 25 for Memphis. Dillon Brooks added 18. Eight Grizzlies were in double figures.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis each had 19 for Milwaukee. Jrue Holiday didn’t play for a second-straight game with an undisclosed non-COVID illness.
Memphis has now won 7 straight and moved into first place in the western conference.
The Bucks are in second place in the east and have lost two of their last three.
The Bucks are back home to play Utah on Saturday.
