EAGLE RIVER, WI (WSAU) – A suspected sex offender who was the subject of an arrest warrant was caught in Vilas County on Tuesday by law enforcement.
Justin King had a warrant out of Vilas County on a charge of First-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child-Under the age of 12.
The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office says that Justin King was arrested along with the help of the U.S. Marshall’s Service and the Eagle River Police Department. He was also known to frequent the Rhinelander and Merrill areas.
A tweet from the sheriff’s office says, “Justin King was taken into custody. We would to thank the US Marshall’s Service, as well as the Eagle River Police Department in assisting us taking Mr. King into custody.”
