WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Wausau man who is the subject of multiple open cases in Marathon County involving disorderly conduct, making threatening statements, domestic abuse, and bail jumping skipped a court appearance on Tuesday and has now forfeited his bond.
Jeffrey Decker didn’t show up to a pretrial conference Tuesday afternoon, prompting Judge Susanne O’Neil to issue a bench warrant for his arrest and forfeit his latest bond payment.
A bond forfeiture hearing is now scheduled for April 28th.
Decker has been accused of disorderly conduct in several areas including a Wausau school, City Hall, and others. In one case, he appeared at Wausau City Hall asking to speak with the City Attorney. When he wasn’t given access, he refused to leave and became so confrontational that police were called to put him in handcuffs and remove him from the building.
He also has no contact orders with multiple individuals, Wausau School District buildings, Wausau City Hall, and the Deeply Rooted Church.
Court records show Decker was made aware of Tuesday’s hearing and did not request to appear virtually or over the phone.
