STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Stevens Point police are reporting a shooting that happened around 4:30 Wednesday morning at a mobile home at 1430 Torun Road.
When officers arrived they found a 41-year-old man in the trailer with a gunshot wound to the left leg. He was treated at the scene and then was transported to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
No one else was found in the trailer and police continue investigating to try and identify a suspect.
Police also say they believe there is no danger to the public, and that it was an isolated incident.
