TOWN OF HAZELHURST, WI (WSAU) — A 68-year-old man has died following a crash on US 51 in Oneida County on Wednesday evening.
Sheriff’s officials say the man was driving a classic 1973 Opal 2-door sedan westbound on County Road D. He entered the intersection at 51 and was struck by a Chevy pickup traveling southbound on the highway.
The 68-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. His name has not been released.
Responding agencies included the Wisconsin State Patrol, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Oneida County Ambulance, and fire crews from four different agencies.
