ST PAUL, MN (WSAU) — Investigators in the Twin Cities say the four homicide victims that were found in an abandoned vehicle in Dunn County were killed in St. Paul, and police there have taken over the investigation.
Police haven’t said what has led them to determine that the four victims- Jasmine Sturm, Matthew Pettus, Nitosha Lee Flug-Presley and Loyace Foreman III- were shot in Minnesota. But a witness did place one of the suspects, Antoine Darnique Suggs, and three of the victims at a bar in St. Paul on the night of September 12th.
Suggs and Darren Lee McWright (Osborne) are in custody in connection with the shootings. Police in St. Paul are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 651-266-5650.
The bodies of Sturm, Pettus, Flug-Presley, and Foreman were found in a cornfield outside the Town of Sheridan. Dunn County authorities, who until now had been leading the investigation, had said they couldn’t find any connection between the victims and the Western Wisconsin community.
There have now been 27 homicides in St. Paul in 2021.
