MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Police in Marshfield and Milwaukee worked together to return a stolen vehicle to its rightful owner and arrest an armed robbery suspect on Monday.
Officers located the vehicle in a residential driveway in Marshfield. The owner confirmed the vehicle was hers and alerted officers that the suspect may be inside the home with her children.
The man initially refused to come out but did surrender after a short standoff.
Officers didn’t release the man’s name or given any more information about the robbery he’s suspected of pulling off. The stolen vehicle was returned to its owner without any significant damage.
