WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — With severe weather expected to hit Central Wisconsin this afternoon and evening, Wausau Events and River District officials have canceled tonight’s outdoor dining and concert.
Johnny and the MoTones were scheduled to take the stage in the 400 Block this evening.
Wednesday’s forecast calls for heavy rain and the possibility of thunderstorms; especially from 5 PM to 1 AM. One to two inches of rain is possible before the system passes.
Additionally, all outdoor downtown events in Stevens Point including Notes@Night and the CREATE Portage County ArtsWalk have also been canceled due to the anticipated rainfall.
Concerts on the Square in Wausau will continue each Wednesday evening through August 18th. The next scheduled show is July 21st with the Brass Differential.
Dining on the street will continue each Wednesday through September 15th.
