NEW LONDON, WI (WSAU) — There were multiple explosions of propane tanks at a campground near New London on Friday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to Huckleberry Acres Campground around 12:30 pm and found heavy black smoke and several vehicles on fire.
As they were preparing to fight the fire a propane tank blew up. Another 20 tanks blew up later.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
