Alright parents, I can't be alone in this. Disclaimer- there's potty talk in this blog.
It's really the small victories that make you feel like a super parent. My son is 3 and for the longest time would only go #1 on the big boy potty. But as of lately, he would go “uckies” on the big boy potty at preschool. Of course, I was irritated because i'm SICK of buying pull ups. The teachers told me it was normal for a lot of boys to not be potty trained til they were almost 4. Still doesn't help my wallet when I'm buying pull ups by the truck load.
Yesterday, because he's been doing so well on his own at school, his teacher told him he wasn't allowed to wear pull ups anymore and only big boy underwear because he's a big boy now.
Game on. Pull ups only at bed time. He had a few accidents but i'm happy to report that I dropped him off at school today in big boy underwear. How is it that him learning to use the toilet made me emotional. Where did my baby go?!
